Dr. Victor A. Manzella, MD

Dr. Victor A. Manzella was born in Newark, New Jersey, graduating from the Delbarton School for boys in Morristown, New Jersey.  He attended Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1983.  Continuing his education at St. George's School of Medicine, Grenada, West Indies, he received his medical degree in December, 1992.  In 1996, Dr. Manzella completed his residency and became board eligible in Internal Medicine at Morristown Memorial Hospital, a Columbia University affiliate, in Morristown, New Jersey.  He served as Chief House Officer in 1995-1996.  He had a private internal Medicine practice in Madison, New Jersey, for 18 months before relocating to Pennsylvania.  In January 1998, Dr. Manzella joined his brother, Edward Manzella, in private practice in Palmerton, Jim Thorpe and Summit Hill, PA.  In July 1999, Dr. John Manzella joined the practice to form Manzella Family Healthcare.

Currently, Dr. Manzella serves as the chairman of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee at Palmerton Hospital as well as serving on Performance Improvements and Credentials Committees.  He is a member of the American Medical Association, Pennsylvania Medical Society and the Carbon County Medical Society.  Dr. Manzella, his wife Genny and their son reside in the west end of Allentown.  He is an avid New York Yankees fan, enjoys traveling, reading, world history and spending time with his family.
